Your role
We are seeking a highly accomplished Head Chef to lead the culinary direction of our restaurants and hotel dining concepts for our new opening, Maison Orient Bucharest. We seek a chef with proven experience in top hotels and restaurants, strong leadership, and a clear creative vision. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Pan-Asian cuisine, complemented by innovation, balance, and modern techniques that emphasize freshness and vibrant flavors.
Your Journey
- Lead and inspire the culinary team to deliver exceptional and consistent dining experiences.
- Design and implement menus with a strong Pan-Asian focus, integrating modern influences and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure excellence in kitchen operations, including quality control, food safety, and cost management.
- Develop signature dishes showcasing creativity, balance, and fresh citrus-forward elements.
- Collaborate with management on F&B strategy, positioning Maison Orient as a culinary destination.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and oversee purchasing, inventory, and budget control.

What do you bring to your trip
- Minimum 8–10 years of culinary leadership experience, with at least 5 years as Head Chef in recognized hotels or fine-dining restaurants.
- Extensive knowledge and mastery of Pan-Asian cuisine (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Southeast Asian).
- Track record of innovation in menu development and culinary presentation. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Romanian, French, etc.) are an advantage.
