Your role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team based in Sinaia, Romania. In this role, you will lead and oversee all pastry and dessert production across multiple properties, ensuring excellence, creativity, and consistency in every product. You will work closely with the Executive Chefs to design and execute innovative pastry menus that enhance the guest experience and reflect Olala!’s brand standards.
Your Journey
- Lead and supervise the pastry team, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Align pastry production with the company’s culinary vision in partnership with the Executive Chef.
- Develop and execute seasonal and creative dessert menus aligned with brand and company standards.
- Maintain the highest levels of quality, consistency, and presentation across all pastry products.
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Conduct regular quality and hygiene checks to ensure compliance with HACCP and company policies.
- Manage ingredient sourcing, inventory control, and cost efficiency, ensuring sustainable and waste-minimizing practices.
- Stay up to date with modern pastry trends and integrate innovative techniques into menu development.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to gather guest feedback and refine pastry offerings.
- Contribute to special events, banquets, and customized dessert experiences for our guests.

What do you bring to your trip
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or bakery/pastry shop.
- Expertise in pastry techniques, chocolate work, sugar artistry, and baking fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of menu development, recipe testing, and large-scale pastry production.
- Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Creative and passionate about pastry innovation and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to excellence.
