Your role
The F&B Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the Hotel Sinaia, ensuring seamless implementation of processes from start to finish. The role focuses on standardization, service quality, upselling strategies, and team training while maintaining high operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Your Journey
Execute and oversee F&B processes from concept to completion, ensuring operational efficiency.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for service, hygiene, and safety in line with brand standards.
Ensure full compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Optimize F&B workflows to enhance productivity and guest experience.
Develop and maintain a high level of service excellence, ensuring consistency across all outlets.
Conduct regular service audits and implement corrective measures to uphold quality standards.
Address guest feedback proactively, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
Enhance the ambiance and overall guest journey within all F&B outlets.
Implement effective upselling techniques and ensure staff are trained to maximize revenue.
Work with the marketing team to create promotions, themed nights, and special events.
Analyze sales reports and guest trends to refine pricing strategies and offerings.
Develop strategies for cross-selling between hotel departments (e.g., rooms, spa, and events).
Lead comprehensive training programs to enhance service skills, upselling, and hospitality standards.
Establish a coaching and mentoring culture, ensuring professional growth within the team.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback to staff.
Foster a positive and motivational work environment that enhances employee retention.
Work closely with the HQ, local Management, and Culinary teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing and waste management.
Monitor and control inventory, F&B cost, and beverage margins while minimizing losses.
Collaborate with suppliers to secure high-quality ingredients and favorable pricing.
Ensure POS system utilization for efficiency in order management and financial tracking.
Implement guest feedback and review management tools to improve service quality.
Stay updated on industry trends and digital solutions to enhance operations.
What do you bring to your trip
Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B operations management, preferably within a high-volume, multi-outlet hospitality environment (hotels, resorts, or restaurants).
Proven track record in standardization, service excellence, and revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and POS systems.
Excellent communication skills in English and Romanian (other languages are a plus).
Hands-on, results-driven, and guest-focused mindset.
Hospitality degree or equivalent, with a thorough understanding of luxury service techniques and trends.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, menu development, and guest-centric service.
Expertise in managing P&L, budgets, and cost control measures to optimize profitability.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing large, diverse teams.
Familiarity with Romanian F&B market trends, suppliers, and local culinary practices is a must.
