Your role
We are looking for a Facilities & Operations Specialist to support and manage a broad range of operational, technical, and logistical responsibilities across our properties and projects in Cascáis.
This is a hands-on, versatile, and trusted role that requires: strong technical and regulatory understanding, excellent operational skills, the ability to manage contractors and suppliers, and the capacity to drive tasks and small-scale projects to completion with ownership and reliability.
The scope goes beyond facilities and includes property onboarding, utilities coordination, small real estate tasks, logistical support for senior management, and operational problem-solving.
(Role is operational, not a project manager, but accountable for delivery)
Your Journey
- Manage maintenance, preventive maintenance, and service follow-ups.
- Supervise contractors and ensure projects meet quality, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate permits, utilities, small construction, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Handle procurement, quotes, purchase orders, and cost tracking for OPEX/CAPEX.
- Maintain records, inspection reports, warranties, and maintenance logs.
- Support property logistics, onboarding, and unique requests discreetly.
- Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to resolve operational issues.
What do you bring to your trip
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Administration, Real Estate, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in facilities coordination, property management, or project administration.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and project management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Portuguese and English a must).
- Knowledge of local building regulations and administrative procedures in Portugal is a plus.
- Experience in real estate development, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Basic understanding of budgeting and procurement processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and administrative teams.
