Your role

We are looking for a versatile Network Engineer with strong technical skills across secure network infrastructure, as well as hands-on experience in modern web and mobile development.

The ideal candidate has intermediate-level knowledge of Python or JavaScript, SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle), understands Data Warehouse fundamentals, and is comfortable working with cloud deployment and automation tools.

Your Journey

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures (VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Monitor network traffic and detect potential vulnerabilities or threats.
• Open to work Mon to Fri, and availability for On-call duty o On-call shifts
• Manage secure authentication methods (tokens, OAuth).
• Automate security tasks using Python or JavaScript scripts.
• Contribute to incident response and log forensics.
• Create automation scripts and ETL processes using Python or JavaScript.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate into automated deployment flows.
• Use Git for source control and collaboration.
• Write and optimize queries in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Support the implementation and maintenance of cyber security tools (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection systems).
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and help remediate identified risks.
• Assist with incident detection, response, and reporting.
• Help document security policies, procedures, and technical guidelines.
• Understand the basics of Data Warehousing: analytic structures, data transformation, hierarchies.
• Knowledge in Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Deploy applications or cloud functions using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, or similar platforms.
• Integrate cyber security measures into DevOps workflows (desirable).

What do you bring to your trip

• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, network security protocols.
• Cloud: serverless deployment with Cloud Functions / Cloud Run.
• Version control & CI/CD: Git, basic continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related fields.
• Desired certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, AWS/GCP Associate, Cisco CCNA Security.
• Previous experience in combined development and/or security roles.
